When and How to Wash Your Cloth Diapers

This is the third blog in a series that we will be posting over the coming few weeks.

Washing diapers every other day is very simple and easy. We recommend the following simple routine:

1. Quick cold rinse, wash or prewash with no detergent.
2. Long/heavy hot wash with the recommended amount of residue-free detergent or no more than 25%-50% of the recommended amount of other detergents. An additional warm rinse may be preferred, but is not always necessary.
3. Dry all items in the dryer on low.

We carry several different brands of laundry detergents that are safe for use with cloth diapers. They are also great for sensitive skin, so you can use them for all of your laundry.
