Green Bambino is closing. In this post, we offer a heartfelt goodbye and final housekeeping details.

We are officially closed.

Thank you for twelve years of including Green Bambino in the growth of your family. I have loved diapering your babies, filling their toy boxes, and stocking their bookshelves. Green Bambino is closing. But as your family continues to grow without me, I hope that hand-me-downs and good memories will endure.

The conditions in which I started the store in 2010 have changed. After many years of growth and success, the pandemic was a turning point for Green Bambino. Like many businesses, it was a challenging time. I prioritized the stability of employees and secured a $150,000 SBA disaster loan to ensure that Green Bambino could continue to pay the people that make it so special. Now that the economy is again in flux, I am unable to continue incurring debt to sustain the business through yet another period of uncertainty.

This is a hard but unavoidable decision. My family has grown too. My child is entering high school, and with the closure or sale of Green Bambino comes the opportunity for me to spend more time with him before he leaves home.

The store will be closed today and tomorrow so we can reduce prices and get ready for our final sale. When we reopen Friday, July 22 at 11 a.m., everything will be on sale, including bestsellers and favorites rarely or never discounted, at discounts of up 40% off (and some things even more). All furniture, fixtures and decor will be also be priced to sell. Check our website regularly for updates.

Thank you for your loyal support both now and over the years. Without you, my dream would never have materialized. I hope you'll come by to say hello one last time and shop for some great bargains in this last sale at Green Bambino.

HOUSEKEEPING DETAILS:

- ALL SALES FINAL beginning July 20, 2022. Exchanges are allowed on purchases made prior to July 20, 2022.

- Green Bambino is closed Wednesday, July 20 and Thursday, July 21 to prepare for our final sale.

- We'll be open Friday, July 22 and Saturday July 23 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. We are reducing our store hours beginning July 28 and will be open Thursdays-Saturdays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

- Final sale prices not valid on previous purchases.

- Our rewards program has ended, but if your rewards card is full, you may cash in any earned rewards.

- Promotional gift certificates and punch cards are no longer valid.

- Purchased gift certificates (either paper or e-gift cards) will be honored up to our last day.

- Our last day in business is expected to be at the end of August or early September.
