Green Bambino, Oklahoma City’s premiere baby store, has announced that they will be celebrating their employees’ birthdays by donating 20% of their sales on each employee’s birthday to a non-profit of that person’s choosing.

Amy Lippe, Store Manager at Green Bambino, will be celebrating her birthday on Monday, August 9, 2021, and she has chosen the Curbside Chronicle as her favorite non-profit organization. According to their website, “the Curbside Chronicle is Oklahoma’s street paper created to provide both a voice and employment opportunities for people who are experiencing and at risk of homelessness. In addition to providing a source of income, the Curbside Chronicle works with vendors to break down barriers to traditional employment and develop time management, money management and social skills…[Curbside Chronicle] vendors chip away at social barriers, stereotypes and stigmas one magazine at a time.”

“I chose to support The Curbside Chronicle for my birthday this year because it's an amazing organization that gets to the root cause of homelessness, homes people, and inspires hope,” said Lippe.

“I wanted to have a unique way to celebrate our employees on their birthdays while also supporting our community in an impactful way,” said Morgan Harris, owner of Green Bambino. “The Curbside Chronicle is a great organization that is making a true difference in the lives of those they serve and our community as a whole. I really hope we are able to make a sizeable donation to them this year.”

Green Bambino is closed on Mondays, so to help support the Curbside Chronicle, please shop at Green Bambino or GreenBambino.com on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Green Bambino will donate 20% of all sales on this date to the Curbside Chronicle, so every dollar spent is helpful for the non-profit organization.
